Remember when Field Marshall Murphy wrote the Palm Beach newspaper recently with his FAA propaganda and informed the misinformed populace in West Palm Beach that the FAA and airlines DO NOT (ROTFLMAO) have a "In bed" relationship?

Two things - one, my son always says, "If you can't duct it, f**k it!" Two, watching the news this morning, not sure if it was CNN or MSNBC, but one of the newscasters was talking about the Southwest slap on the wrist for their lack of maintenance work and said, "This is more proof that the FAA is more interested in pleasing the airlines than they are in doing what they are suppose to do, and that is to ensure our safety while flying." I literally jumped off the couch and let out a YESSS!!! THAT is the kind of publicity we need, THAT is what needs to be plastered all over the friggin' U.S. of A. - THAT is what we need to convince the Senate and Congress of.

Speaking of misrepresentation (or outright deception)... Where did that SWA 737 photo come from? That's a photo of an aircraft that was involved in some kind of incident - probably ran off the end of a runway somewhere. Small cracks wouldn't have caused the kind of damage to the plane shown in the picture.
